Once again ,the Catholic church gets to sell off private property to fund yet another decades long sexual abuse scandal. The Supreme Court of Newfoundland is allowing the Archdiocese of St. Johns to sell off 43 Catholic church properties to settle with victims of sexual abuse at the hands of Catholic clergy. Maybe it’s time to stop letting the predator priests buy their way out of sex abuse claims and send them to jail for repeatedly harming children across the globe. Just a thought.
